Wow, I haven't touched this site in a long time. Work has gotten a little heavy in load, but I will had more time to this site. I will add a searchable engine to have what I wanted to have from Day One. I would probably use an applet to do the work, since I can't use a CGI script here at Fortunecity.com January 19th, 1998 C.E.
This site is still underway in it's construction. If a page is blank but has the header and everything else... That means that the content will be up in a week or two. This is currently a solo project, and have only one contribution from another source. So please be patient. January 09th, 1998 C.E.
This Section/Pages were put together by a Turtle Hobbyist with about 4 years experience. I am not a profession, and have no or claim to have any expert knowledge. Much of my reference material is researched from a wide diveristy of places (websites, people, books, care sheets, and personal experiences). So please be advise of this point and remember much of what you find on the internet, will be much like I have just stated: Webpages made by people providing information about topics that they do not hold any degrees in, at times, and are hobbyist in these fields. There are exceptions to this. In the "Chain of Links" Page, I have sorted professionals from personal pages by hobbyist. Some hobbyist, you will find at times, have equal or better knowledge than that of professionals. This is just something to keep in mind when every you look for information on the internet. If anyone is interested in contributing to this site, please do. In return, you will get FULL CREDIT for your contributions! I am looking for photos of Turtles, information concerning species, stories, articules, etc... PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME COPYRIGHTED MATERIALS THAT DO NOT BELONG TO YOU! That means any scanned images you may have acquired fmro a book, or someone else's site! It msut be original work. I would like to see this site become a collaborative effort with many people who deal with Turtles. Only time will tell. So in the meantime, please browse this area of my pages. It is still in production stages, but is functional. Currently some of the pages will have minor text followed by links to more completereferences on the "NET", but I will continue to work on them.
