Turtle Database

NOTE TO ALL: This is not complete yet as you can see. I have to finish the list. (Alot more is here than you think, heeheh.) It will be completed... soon time this year (Yeah right!) But I will gradually add species, hopefully on a regular basis. Sorry to bring your hopes up, but there is only one person working on the entire thing right now, but... I AM willing to accept help from others. I may be able to do something for you in return, in addition to the credit you will get for any work contributed here.

Have you ever seen a turtle enjoy it's shell rubbed. I have. It seems that some turtles are sensitive towards they carapace being rubbed, and respond in a somewhat similar fashion as dogs would. You guess is as good as mine.
