Yurtle

Yurtle
Trachemys scripta elegans
3.5 yrs.
The biggest turtle of the group, about 5" long. When younger, Yurtle used to have a tendenecy of climbing over hurtle quiet often. Nowadays Hurtle nips at Yurtle. Go figure. Yurtle tends to have moments of escaping... a natural Houndini. He likes ot wonder when possible, and likes walks on the beach. =-).

Jesse
Trachemys scripta scripta
2.5 yrs.
Jesse is the baby in the group, almost nearing our 3 yr anniversary. I got Jesse I believe the day before the New Year. Wow, time flies. Jesse was so cute, and still is, when Jesse was small. My mom said, "aawww, how cute... why did u get a turtle?" But Jess is cute, and I love her. Well as much as I would love a turtle.

Hurtle
Trachemys scripta elegans though looks similar to a troosti or mix of
3.5 yrs.
Hurtle tends to be the more anti-scoial turtle of the group. Tends to shy away from me as I approach.
